TMT HydraJac tools are slim, lightweight Hydraulic Tensioners especially designed for half joint tightening.

The HydraJAC A5 feature particular and carefully selected materials designed to give long service life. They are all spring return tensioners thus avoiding the need of laborious tensioner piston retraction.

Easily accessible top entry quick release hose connections.

The A5 have also been designed to operate at the same pressure so interconnecting different size Tensioners to different size bolting, allowing the correct load in the bolt at the same applied pressure.

Speed of Operation – The HydraJac A5 Tensioners are simply screwed home by hand, connected together and pressurized simultaneously.

Ease of Operation – a simple hydraulic pump is all that is required to operate the HydraJAC A5 Tensioners. Geared drive nut rotation gives direct and easy access to  seat the nuts onto the casing surface.

Accuracy – a known load is applied to the bolts (pressure x hydraulic pressure area). The very design of the Tensioners ensures that the maximum and precise residual load is retained from this applied load.

Reliability - Seal arrangement ensures maximum flexibility and insures efficient sealing.

Improved Technology– It is known that torsional stresses induced into bolts are prone to relaxation, resulting in eventual loss of load. This does not occur with the HydraJac due to the fact that the bolts are directly tensioned, no torsional stresses are applied to the bolts.
